This "drawing" was obviously edited on the computer. For example the background was blurred and several sections of the glass were blurred as well. It's impossible to achieve that smooth of a texture with graphite.
Hmmm, possibly you just doesn't have understand he's drawing all of the pictures with his bare hands.... that's okay. Not everyone knows you can use your fingers to make powder effects with grafit. But then don't blame a so talented man for your inexperience.
Maybe he just knows a technique you doesn't know? And the main part is you had said "drawing" like it's all over a fake. To me that sounds especially like you were pretty jealous. Do you tilt your screen with every picture? So maybe you should think about how and in what kind of tone you say things.
I've seen what drawings look like when edited and that looks exactly like it. So I'm pretty sure that this was. I put "drawing" in quotes because once a drawing is edited like that it's no longer 100% a drawing. No, I don't tilt my screen for every picture I just thought that this was ridicoulsly obvious that it was edited, so I tilted my screen for further proof.
I know that you can blend graphite with your fingers. You can't blend it that smooth though. Tilt your screen to view just how smooth he was able to get it. That's not possible.
